It’s Monday evening, and after having some problems with a WordPress Theme on Friday (the basic software for the structure/design side of a WordPress based website…) I decided to change the Theme and set up a fresh version of this website. I thought I would probably get that finished by Saturday afternoon…
But it took all weekend and a lot of Monday to get everything in shape. There was a lot to do to make the site more of an ecommerce website to match the direction my art business is going in. As well as the design/layout there was a lot to do with working out and fixing the shipping zones etc. on all 46 products/variations, each with different costs for several sizes of poster or canvas – and other time consuming work.
But it will all be worth it. And I enjoy messing about with websites. It is much better and better suited to it’s purpose now, and I’m really glad I was having problems with the old Theme.
Now the foundations of the site are all set up properly. Ready for the marketing to continue. I’ve applied to get my website’s products being listed automatically to Pinterest Catalogues for one thing today. Also, after having had 26 subscribers on my YouTube Channel for years when it wasn’t being used (and while I’ve been adding videos over the past couple of months), this week I’ve suddenly gained 6 subscribers to make it 32!!
