This piece is the completed picture developed from one of the sketches I did while starting to draw again after a very long time of not drawing.

My realisation that art is what I’m supposed to be doing was still pretty much unhatched…and I hadn’t really got back into the swing of drawing yet.

The frame of the picture, not initially part of the piece, represents how my attitude to my art was just waiting to be reframed.
